Confusion with EBS

[edit]

"... Edinburgh Business School, based at Heriot-Watt University, somewhere near Livingston, which runs a large-scale global distance-learning MBA programme that competes on cost rather than quality." This seems to be written in a disparaging tone. The Riccarton Campus is within the City Boundary and at least as close to the City Centre as to Livingston Town Centre. Livingston is in West Lothian, a neighbouring local authority. kegemac (talk) 12:43, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is 5 miles from the center of the city... this is a fact!

This comment is mistaken. Edinburgh Business School is a different school from University of Edinburgh Business School. --Duncan (talk) 11:28, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Prior branding

[edit]

"The current name of ‘Management School and Economics’ will change to the ‘School of Business and Economics’. This will be a school of the University and function primarily as an administrative unit, providing a home and a variety of management and support services to two academic communities, one in Business and one in Economics, rather like a holding company." http://www.man.ed.ac.uk/aboutus/namechange.html

This article has got the name wrong and focuses only on the business part not the economics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Randomer1111 (talkcontribs) 21:05, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In 2008 the management school divided into a business school and a school of economics. --Duncan (talk) 11:28, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
