International Day of Disabled Persons → International Day of Persons with Disabilities — As per UN page (and the article itself), the name of this day is now "International Day of Persons with Disabilities." I am double-checking before moving because it is evident that others have noticed this and decided not to move the page but instead simply note the name change in the article itself. Personally, strongly support moving to ensure accuracy, but understand that the "old name" may still be the most commonly used. David Agnew (talk) 01:47, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

- On the IDPWD-website, the UN explicitly states "International Day of People with Disabilities is not owned by the UN – it is owned by everyone". I think this might mean we should lose the 'United Nations' at the start of the title. Is it still possible to discuss a name change? Laurier (talk) 15:50, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
