[edit]The section of this page with the heading 'Differences' needs reviewing. In general more citations are required for this page.
But with regards to the word-length-effect the Rehearsal explanations do not accurately fit (this relies on a theory of temporal limit to the storage of STM and the existence of a memory component designed to deal with 'temporary' information, but aside from that) which may be explained by other research. Further more, the word-length-effect has had confounding results compared to Nairnes or Baddeleys. More information on criticisms seems prudent or at the very least links to competing theories but either way the research done for this wikipedia article SHOULD be UPDATED. 149.167.152.134 (talk) 02:26, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
