[edit]The cast lists might be better served as their own page...someone who knows more about the series should seriously expand this article, as it's barely a stub without the huge cast lists. Bo-Lingua
Criticism of the Show
[edit]it would be nice to have an analysis of why this show sucked so bad. how it helped destroy mtv, destroy music and creativity, and flush a generation down the mind toilet of commercialist garbage media made by conglomerate business organizations purely to increase profits and make the rich richer while denying the poor any creative outlet or representation on television.
The above was deleted by an anonymous user after the same user had posted it. While it's not the most NPOV, nor the most eloquent, I think it has good merit. A section of criticism of this show would be useful. Bo-Lingua 14:42, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
Is that sarcastic? It's really quite impossible to blame this show for the total downfall of MTV. MTV never made any pretenses of being an opem forum for the poor to express themselves creatively. And wouldn't it seem bizarre to put that criticism here, for a relatively unknown show that only aired at 11 pm instead of, say, on the pages for MTV Cribs or Beavis and Butthead? Asarkees 06:05, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- No, not sarcastic, but I think that it and the other shows did lead to the decline of MTV as Music TV; and that's what I was talking about more than anything. Bo-Lingua 21:24, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
The reason MTV is now "sucking so badly" is because of a bunch of shows like these. They hardly have any shows that can be watched before 8 pm, and their target audience is so small.69.208.85.211 (talk) 19:01, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Not the first live-action scripted MTV show

Music in the credits?
[edit]does anyone know what music was used in the opening credits, closing credits and bumpers? was it original music made specifically for the show? or was it some sort of house or techno song that was licensed? i've been trying to figure this out for years.
Link to UndressedTV.com and References
[edit]There is a discussion regarding the validity of the existing link over here — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kn0wItAll (talk • contribs) 05:28, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
- User:Biker_Biker tagged the article as unreferenced. As the IMDB is not considered a reliable source for cast information per Wikipedia guidelines and the most reliable source for such information are the credits in the episodes themselves, I am contemplating citing this website as a reference for seasons 1 and 2 cast. Does anybody object or have a better idea for cast references? Kn0wItAll (talk) 22:32, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
- If the website isn't suitable as an external link then it certainly isn't a reliable source, because of, for example, the uncertainty over its legitimacy. Not sure why you have such an obsession with this website, but I suggest you let it drop. --Biker Biker (talk) 07:53, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- First, it has not been determined by the community that the website isn't suitable as an external link, that discussion is ongoing. Second, the criteria for a reliable source is different than the criteria for a suitable external link. As for your last statement, please see WP:NPA. Kn0wItAll (talk) 08:09, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- That is not a personal attack, just a question about why you are obsessed with pushing a single website. Do you have a connection with it? Perhaps you should read WP:COI. --Biker Biker (talk) 08:21, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- Personal attacks masquerading as questions are still personal attacks. Stop focusing on me and focus on the content. Kn0wItAll (talk) 16:49, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- What personal attack? --Biker Biker (talk) 16:58, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- Kn0wItAll, enough with accusations that you're being personally attacked. The question about you having some sort of connection to this link is a legitimate one because you're pushing its inclusion which is exactly what someone who owns the site would do. Good faith only goes so far. That being said, I see no copyright clearance on the website to even clear the videos which is the problem here. I honestly don't care who owns the site but it's obvious the site is a fansite with fan-posted videos that are not commercially available (ie LEGAL). That's a copyright problem which, again, is why the link was removed by at least two different editors. If these video clips were legal, I think the official site at MTV would be hosting them. I don't care how long the link stayed in before it was caught or if another article has links to videos/fansites - this one was caught and rightfully removed and should not go back in unless the videos are removed from the site. - Using the same logic one could suggest that you are advocating for the removal of the link because you own a competing website or that User:Biker Biker and User:Pinkadelica are the same person because the two share the same views. Do you now see how unproductive going down that path is? That is why we must focus on the evidence and not claims that either of us has any motives beyond improving the article. Why is it " cast members included " instead of just simply " cast " and list the FULL cast ?
[edit]like really ??? Is Wikipedia just really super tight on memory space snd just couldn't handle listing 5 or so more names each season?
Lol
Or just pure laziness? 2601:18F:E82:A10:47A:DE25:ED9F:B21E (talk) 06:38, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
