Requests for additions from Chinese people

[edit]
  • I think inputs from Chinese people living in China are needed to this wiki article. Currently all inputs seem to be from people in the west, this gives this article a pro western view of the film based primarily on a western media. We do need more views of locals viz. Chinese people domiciled in China who can add information as it actually happens there, with inputs from media in Chinese (I know based on prior visits to China that there is a huge independent media and social media prevalent in China - but it is all in Mandarin which is out of bound / understanding for most of us. Hence this request) Notthebestusername (talk) 18:33, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Renmin Ribao direct quotation needed and more

[edit]

In the text we read: "People's Daily, the official newspaper of the Communist Party, reposted the film and published an interview with Chai.[5]", but in note 5 there is missing the source. On which day and which page was it published??? And second, when exactly was the order to withdraw the movie from the Chinese web pages??? ++--84.73.123.149 (talk) 20:36, 14 March 2015 (UTC)--++[reply]

Congratulations

[edit]

Congratulations on making it to today's listing on the "Did You Know..." section of Wikipedia Main Page. The process of making it the listing takes a bit of effort and involves the quick cooperation of many editors. All involved deserve recognition, appreciation, thanks and applause.

Best Regards,

Adding Chinese sources and re-structure the contents

[edit]

Added some reviews from Chinese sources. These reviews were supposed to be removed from Chinese Internet platforms, but somehow remained. Also re-structured the contents, split the Release Section into Release and Ban, Impact, and Social Media and Censorship in China. RebeccaLYU (talk) 18:37, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
