"Notable" alumni

I don't know if a player can be considered "notable" if he doesn't even have his own Wikipedia page. I know having a WP page isn't always the be-all end-all of notability. But maybe "notable alumni" should be kept to players who are currently notable, instead of assuming it for the future. Lizard (talk) 21:06, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
