... that the Umberslade Obelisk (pictured) is a "monument of nothing in particular"? Direct quote from: Hutton, William Holden (1905). Burford Papers: Being Letters of Samuel Crisp to His Sister at Burford; and Other Studies of a Century (1745-1845). A. Constable & Company, Limited. p. 163.

- Article is new enough, long enough, and adequately sourced. I didn't find any close paraphrasing and a QPQ has been performed. The hook is cited inline to two sources: the online one doesn't seem to mention the quote, so I am assuming good faith that they're in the book source (which I can't access). However, the hook may need revision: the article doesn't state that the monument is definitely dedicated to "nothing in particular"; in fact, it is the quote of one historian, while the article also discusses other possible theories on its reason for erection. - Yes, I thought that might be an issue but I liked the snappiness of the original proposal and thought the quotes might make it obvious that it was an opinion. How's ALT1 - Dumelow (talk) 13:12, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
