Records vs reality
[edit]I realize what the records say. The reality is different. In the fall of 1959, the Waccamaw was scheduled to be refitted in the Bethlehem shipyard in Brooklyn. Due to "some" problem, they decided, in transit, to go to the shipyard in Hoboken, where she was placed in drydock at least until the end of December, which is where I last saw her.
