USS Secota was YTM-415 (not YTM 417)

[edit]

USS Secota was YTM-415 (not YTM 417). http://www.nvr.navy.mil/nvrservicecraft/details/YTM415.htm

The reference to a stub by that name also needs changing, as does the stub itself.

Radioactive matieral

[edit]

In this article you state that a nine inch hole in the nose cone was cut by a ladder. But U-235 is not radioactive until it goes through the process of fission. Hotel bravo kilo (talk) 12:15, 13 October 2009 (UTC)Hotel Bravo Kilo[reply]

The logo for the USS Georgia is mentioned on the Twelfth episode of Hey, Shipwreck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGY7L0wTNXo&feature=related —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.145.39.162 (talk) 13:53, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Operational History

[edit]

This text was part of the new section Operational History, but hidden in comments. Clearly some of this is opinion so belongs in talk rather than in the article.

20 years of history go here. She went out and bored lots of large quiet holes in the water. Had she done anything truly notable, certain parts of the globe would be glowing. Men went out and served on her and got little recognition. Some of us know and appreciate it.

[edit]

If anyone happens to be curious, this is what the old one looked like before the refit. http://www.navychief.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/B-SSBN-729%20GEORGIA-$7.00.jpg — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:558:6033:93:5943:58D9:C6D2:AAB6 (talk) 04:57, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Act of Valor

[edit]

I'm pretty sure this was the one used in the movie, "act of valor". Thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.241.241.133 (talk) 19:50, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
