1973 Boiler Explosion
[edit]In the article it says:
- "On the afternoon of 5 February 1973, while she conducted underway training off the Virginia Capes, a boiler explosion killed seven of Basilone's crew."
The New York Times says:
- "13 Sailors Die in Boiler Blast at Sea."
