Merge of USS Trapper (ACM-9) page
[edit]Of the ship's entire history 1942 to 1969 only 1942-1946 were not as Yamacraw and of those only a brief period, 1945=1946, were as Trapper. Most significant history was the USCG/USN period during which the ship was diverted from USCG cable operations to ocean research under Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Navy ocean research and cable operations 1957-1965. The DANFS text making up most of the Trapper page here has been incorporated into the Trapper section of this page with in line DANFS cites. This page covers entire history in text and infobox with new photographs and cited text. Palmeira (talk) 14:03, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
