Why is "Baronies of Ireland" redundant, but not "Lists of towns in Ireland"? Neither is referenced in the body of the article. Yet both shed light on a higher order, of which the subject of the article is a member. The link to Barony is to the term in general, not to Ireland in particular. I think that the "See also" link should be restored. Laurel Lodged (talk) 23:32, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am responding to the proposal to merge Twomileborris (electoral division) into Two-Mile Borris. This is a very bad idea, because the two articles deal with different concepts. Two-Mile Borris is a village, whereas the electoral division is a relatively large rural area which has its own history (deriving from the Poor Laws but still used for census and electoral purposes) and which, although it includes the village, also includes many other places. Amalgamating the electoral division article into the village article would make no more sense than, say, amalgamating the article for County Tipperary into the article for Tipperary Town.MartinCollin (talk) 19:48, 2 October 2012 (UTC)MartinCollin[reply]
