Gonna try to beef up this stub into an article
[edit]I noticed a lot of misconceptions from what falls under this 501c(4) Turning Point Actions and the separate organization the 501c(3) non-profit Turning Point USA on the laters article page. For the sake of being concise and accurate if nothing else I'll try to get all the mis-labeled material over here where it belongs. EliteArcher88 (talk) 05:16, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- This wouldn't be an issue at all if Turning Point Action had been kept as part as the Turning Point USA article as it should have. Beyond My Ken (talk) 06:53, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- I can understand why it might be confusing that these two organizations are different entities since they both have Turning Point in their title, but ultimately I would say it was accurate to make a separate article. It just seems to be a branding choice for Charlie Kirk, since he is Founder of both. Naturally there is overlap between these two orgs, and I'm definitely for keeping any notable occurrences of overlap on TPUSA. However this is a stub that requires more information and there is no reason why we shouldn't try to accurately add WP:RS. EliteArcher88 (talk) 21:52, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Kirk controls both, and both have the same goals. They're essentially two parts of the same movement, separated only because they legally have to be. No other articles separate 501(c)3s from their connected 501 (c)4s. Beyond My Ken (talk) 03:07, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
- Merging the articles could be an improvement if consensus can be found for it. @Beyond My Ken, is it still true that
no other articles separate 501(c)3s from their connected 501 (c)4s

Done, I have recently added some more details into the article and after reviewing the procedure outlined by the Stubs policy page (Word count is >500) I have deemed the page no longer a stub and removed the stub tag. MaximusEditor (talk) 17:31, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Going to add in an MOS:INFOBOX soon, there is enough WP:WEIGHT to make a decent one. MaximusEditor (talk) 17:08, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
