Move to Turkmenistani manat
[edit]Since currencies of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan have an I at the end (Kazakhstani, Kyrgyzstani, Tajikistani, Uzbekistani) why doesn't Turkmenistan's manat have an I at the end of Turkmenistan? Barracuda41 (talk) 02:10, 22 June 2019 (UTC)

Turkmenistan manat → Turkmenistani manat – Making in line with Kazakhstani tenge, Kyrgyzstani som, Uzbekistani soʻm and Tajikistani somoni. This will revert the move that was done for the wrong reason 11 years ago. The adjective Turkmenistani is NOT made up, in my opinion. What do you think? Keyacom (💬 | 🖊) 10:18, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

Turkmenistani manat → Turkmen manat – The demonym of Turkmenistan is widely considered to be "Turkmen", and "Turkmenistani" is not widely used. Therefore it should be "Turkmen manat". - Oppose unless I am missing something. The ethnic group is at Turkmens, while Turkmenistani redirects to Demographics of Turkmenistan. As this implies, articles pertaining specifically to the country of Turkmenistan are at titles like Turkmenistani nationality law, Visa requirements for Turkmenistani citizens, etc. Dekimasuよ! 02:52, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
