The result of the move request was: page moved. No consensus so revert to the old name. Also, since there are really two different hospitals, it might be clearer to just split out the new hospital into a new article. This would avoid the name issue, well except for the local resistance to the new name, and provide for two logical and well focused articles. Vegaswikian (talk) 06:30, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
The Tunbridge Wells Hospital → Pembury Hospital – Relisted. Is this a rename or is this a rename and a split? Vegaswikian (talk) 07:35, 24 November 2011 (UTC) The hospital is not in Tunbrigde Wells, it is in Pembury. It has a long history of being known as Pembury Hospital, and despite the rebranding by the local NHS Trust following the construction of the new building, it is still known locally as Pembury Hospital. This move request is basically per WP:COMMONNAME. As the article was moved to its current title, reverted and moved back, I'm bringing this up for discussion with the intention of reaching a consensus on which title should host the article and which should be the redirect. - Comment, as WP:BRD was ignored, and WP:BRRD was applied, I would request that the default in this case should be a move back to the original title of Pembury Hospital. Mjroots (talk) 10:53, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Oppose As defined by the NHS here, by the bbc here, arriva here, by john laing, the people who built it, here and a host of others; this is the hospitals official name. yes it used to be called 'pembury hospital', but since the amalgamation of the 2 hospitals and it's complete demolition and rebuilding, it was renamed. the article should reflect that. Actually, i propose a new article is created, with the pembury hospital article kept separate for historical info etc, like the K&S article. Mister sparky (talk) 23:55, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
