A fact from Trumpet (ice cream) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 5 April 2024 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the phrase "togs, togs, undies" was popularized in New Zealand by an advertisement for Trumpet ice cream cones?

Comment: Emphasis must be put on that the tips are not there to prevent sogginess, but are a by-product of preventing sogginess, which can make wording difficult.
Not a review, but is it really unique to this brand of ice cream? I could have sworn at least some Cornettos also have chocolate tips, at least from what I remember. The hook itself is interesting to me, but I'm not sure if it's unique to Trumpet. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 09:05, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Narutolovehinata5, I've did a bit of copyediting. With the understanding that you aren't reviewing, is it possible that you have a look over the article? My writing needs improvement. No obligation of course. —Panamitsu(talk)10:57, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Overall: Article is new enough and long enough. It is well sourced and neutral. No plagiarism detected by Earwig. Hooks 2-4 are interesting. I think Hook 2 is strongest (& I have struck hooks 0-1). ALT2, ALT3 andALT4 are cited here. QPQ is done. Lajmmoore (talk) 09:06, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
