Trisha (actress)Trisha Krishnan – Trisha Krishnan's name follows the Indian patronymic naming convention, where 'Krishnan' is her father's given name. It's not a mononyme. Comment It doesn't matter what her full name is. You have to show what her common name is to make a case for this move. If she's known mononymously as Trisha (the same way as Rekha or Kajol) and is credited as such in her work, there would be no point in moving the page. Keivan.fTalk 19:49, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Keivan.f You can check for yourself and see that Google results bring up her full name, as well as most sources, including IMDb, Apple TV, Hindustan Times, Amazon, Rotten tomatoes, VAIF etc. Anoop Bhatia (talk) 10:21, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I request the removal of the following sentence from Trisha's biography

[edit]

"On 23 January 2015, Trisha became engaged to Chennai-based businessman Varun Manian, but by May 2015, she confirmed that the engagement had ended."

Reasoning:

Undue Weight (WP:UNDUE): The engagement was brief and no longer holds relevance to Trisha's public life or career. Including it gives disproportionate attention to a personal event with no lasting significance.

Privacy (WP:BLPPRIVACY): the subjected person is not a public figure, and continuing to mention him could infringe on his privacy, especially as the engagement ended and serves no ongoing relevance to Trisha's notability.

This removal ensures the article remains focused on notable aspects of Trisha's public career.W170924 (talk) 19:10, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: although bygone, this is a part in the subject's life that is documented by reliable sources, so we should include it. You might be able to contact WP:VRT, arguing to remove it as ipso facto per WP:BLPDEL but can't really say for sure here. NotAGenious (talk) 17:11, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@NotAGenious: Thanks for the heads-up.W170924 (talk) 01:19, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
