The Blackpool years

[edit]

I remember reading in Blackpool's Evening Gazette in 1992 or so that Sinclair and a couple of other Blackpool players were assaulted while on holiday in... Majorca, I think it was. Nothing more was ever said about it though. I'll do some digging around. - Dudesleeper 04:13, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction

[edit]

This is an encyclopedia not a newspaper. In ten years time Sinclair will be an ex England Player; now he is an ex England Player. This should be in the introduction. Lucian Sunday (talk) 21:41, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Line reads "In November 2017, Sinclair was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, common assault and criminal damage after a woman was hit by a car in Lytham St Annes.[27] On 2 January 2018, Sinclair was convicted of drink driving, urinating in a police car and racially abusing a police officer by calling him a 'white cunt'.[28] He was sentenced to 150 hours of unpaid work, disqualified from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay £500 compensation to the abused police officer.[29]"

Also please change the following: Line reads: "Following the death of Elizabeth II, Sinclair tweeted asking why "black and brown" people should mourn.[31] His comments were met with widespread condemnation including that of his fellow TalkSPORT colleague, Simon Jordan.[32]"

Should Read "Following the death of Elizabeth II, Sinclair tweeted asking why "black and brown" people should mourn.[31] His comments were met with widespread condemnation including that of his fellow TalkSPORT colleague, Simon Jordan.[32] Both Talksport and his agents Tongue Tied Management distanced themselves from Sinclair's tweet and looked to investigate possible disciplinary measures. Sinclair has removed his twitter account." Source https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/trevor-sinclair-tweet-queen-death-27946490 Juicys78 (talk) 09:32, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Partly done: I didn't do the second one because the daily mirror is a perennial source. Aaron Liu (talk) 11:32, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
