It is mostly about private property which should stay unaffected (and also did so). The former Danish noble families were also soon incorporated into the Swedish Nobility. The old provincial law system was abolished 1683 in both Denmark and Sweden a replaced by national law. --Vedum (talk) 15:17, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What you cited is §9 of the Roskildefreden (1658), not Copenhagen (1660). But - §9 of Copenhagen (1660) neither says anything about "own law" etc, it is about titles/property on Rügen(read §9 online). In §§12 ff., there is protection of Scanian property and law, but I found nothing about "own culture" or "own language" in the treaty. Skäpperöd (talk) 17:12, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. There are people alwas talking about this "§9" not fullfilled by the Swedish Government. But in this Treaty the paragraph is about quite other things. The original §9 (Roskilde) is also about titles/property and not about "culture" and "language", which is not mentioned at all. --Muniswede (talk) 20:53, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
