[edit]Most of the article comes from the Italian wikipedia (Tranvia di Firenze) translated and reorganized. I'm working on the translation of the rest of the article. --Ita140188 (talk) 15:21, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

Trams in Florence → Gest (Florence) – First of all is not a tramway but is a light rail. As Dallas light rail page is called DART Light Rail, we should call this with its own name [1] Wind of freedom (talk) 16:16, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: The article currently states "The current network operator is GEST", but not that the railway is actually called "Gest". Do you have a source that says what the railway is called? And if it is Gest, is it capitalised or not? jamacfarlane (talk) 20:53, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose This is not what it is called. Moreover, the article also deals with previous tramways. If it is a tramway or a light rail is just a matter of definition and is debatable. However, the system is widely called "tranvia", so the current name is appropriate. --Ita140188 (talk) 23:38, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. Doesn't just deal with the current system. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:53, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME. Even if I thought the tram/light rail distinction was important in this case, and even if I ignore the historical section, I am still unconvinced that "Gest" (and especially "Gest (Florence)") is the common-name, or that naming it such would facilitate readers finding the topic. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 06:58, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
