Non neutral point of view
[edit]The last section on school badge is not neutral, has no references and is written in the first person. Wikipedia is not for advertising the school! I've tagged it for now but perhaps it should be removed altogether. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.88.69.234 (talk) 11:02, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Pictures?
[edit]Can we put pictures of the school on this page? I am a lemon 05:22, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- yes, just click on 'upload file' in the toolbox on the left. Cheers, WikiTownsvillian 07:57, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
WikiProject class rating
[edit]This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 10:40, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Issues
[edit]I note that there is no section on boarding, which is and has been a prominent part of the school for its entire existence.
There is no history of the school at all and in 2008 it will be celebrating its 120th year, so there is clearly history to be discussed (and isn't that what people would be searching for often).
Another thing is I am not sure if Duncan Yorkston is in fact a "Notable alumni". Although he went to TGS, I can find no evidence that he is currently an Indigenous rights activist, but more importantly, a notable one. Could someone who knows more about this please provide some evidence of why this has been included? There are also many more alumni who would be equally (or more!) important than the sporting heroes mentioned.

Additions needed.
[edit]I have recently revised the TGS page, with a new info box, and a revised crest with copyright information attached. It is hoped that there will be a section dedicated to history/boarding within the next couple of months.
It seems that the notable Alumni also needs to be reevaluated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrbbb (talk • contribs) 11:59, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Mrbbb (talk) 15:40, 19 June 2008 (UTC) Notable Alumni was removed due to the lack of substance. A complete list may have to be obtained from the school. If there are any objections, please use this talk page.
International Baccalaureate
[edit]I think we should recognize the fact that the school is now accredited for the International Baccalaureate. I've taken the liberty of adding it to the info box. Captainkeyes11 (talk) 10:13, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Duncan Yorkston
[edit]I have noticed that Duncan Yorkston, Aboriginal Activist, keeps cropping up on the page as a "Notable alumni". Although he did attend TGS, I can find no evidence that he is a notable Indigenous rights activist. If you are intending to continue to add this, please provide references to prove that he is in fact a notable Indigenous rights activist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.44.11.76 (talk) 04:11, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Notable alumni
[edit]The section was tagged for sources five months ago with no improvement so I moved it here. Feel free to reinstate any of them, with proper reliable sources.
