Placed on a pedestal
[edit]Article reads:
"During the Second Empire, the architect Théodore Ballu restored the tower, placing it on a pedestal and designing a small city park around it."
Looks like a pretty big tower to me. How did they manage to do that? Did they deconstruct the whole tower and build it again on a pedestal? I must be missing something. --WANAX (talk) 19:09, 27 May 2013 (UTC)

Contradiction
[edit]The introduction says "demolished in 1797, during the French Revolution", Tour_Saint-Jacques#Nineteenth_century says "The church, with the exception of the tower, was demolished in 1793". What is correct? 1797 or 1793? Gestumblindi (talk) 18:53, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
