Querying 'Design Flaw' claim

[edit]

My 1978 rules state that the winner is the winner of the race or the one with the most money (to be decided at the commencement of the game). Was this always the case, or were the rules revised following complaints? MortimerCat 14:41, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The version I own (British edition, c. 1965) clearly says that the owner of the first horse past the post is the winner, irrespective of money. So this probably is a later alteration to improve the game. Jon Rob 10:45, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pictue needed

[edit]

To jazz this up a bit we need a picture of Totopoly. Could we just lift one from the external link site? --Dr Finkbottle 07:44, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I own a copy although it's at my family's house, I'll try and dig it out and take a photo and/or scan the cover. Stifle (talk) 14:11, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Double-sided board?

[edit]

I note that the article refers to a double-sided board. My family's version has two separate canvas-style boards that are kept rolled up in the box and then rolled out and weighted down on the corners when the game is played. 203.31.53.204 (talk) 04:06, 15 July 2008 (UTC)rithom[reply]

The version I have which I believe was the first mass produced version in the UK has a board with a normal outer coating but the inside was like a book so you flipped a central page to change boards.Tetron76 (talk) 11:05, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
