Total F4 Tornadoes

[edit]

Apparently, there were 15 F4 tornadoes that year on 15 different days. Two official, and 13 estimated. Halls4521 (talk) 22:49, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Also, it looks like there were ≥71 deaths that year in the U.S., and >88 worldwide.--Halls4521 (talk) 03:13, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I just did a bold change. Since two are official ratings and 13 are unofficial, I left the two official as if only two occurred, but I added a 3rd line for the 13 unofficial ones in the US. We could probably do that type of layout for any pre-1950 articles, since there are some intense/violent official ones pre-1950. Elijahandskip (talk) 17:11, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Honestly, I'd count the ratings from Grazulis since they're the closest thing we have to "official" for pre-1950 tornadoes in the U.S. and the NWS usually accepts these ratings when it refers to these tornadoes. TornadoLGS (talk) 20:32, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
