Things to add
[edit]Infoboxes! And the table for individual tornadoes. This could easily be a GA soon, good job Storm.-Runningonbrains 14:38, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- hehe. I was just coming back to the page to give it the exact same class, though I might have made it min-level importance to the tornado project, as it fills in the timeline :). Yes, a fantastic job considering you're the only editor so far Storm. Crimsone 14:41, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
May 23
[edit]I've added the tornadoes that occured just east of the May 22 tornadoes as it was obviously from the same system. This gives a total of 43 tornadoes during the two-day outbreak.--JForget 20:05, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Name
[edit]I moved the article named "May 1981 Tornado Outbreak" to "May 1981 tornado outbreak" to comply with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (events). --Rosiestep (talk) 23:16, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Improving accessibility for screen reader users
[edit]I've split the original tables and added a caption to each so that screen reader users can understand the structure of those tables. I've also added "scope" attributes to the header cells. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility for why these are important.
I made the destination of the links in the tables unique and clear out of the context of the table and the page. This is because Screen reader users can call up a list of links on the page that can be announced one at a time: it is not helpful to have two links with exactly the same text but two different destinations. I hope that helps! CrazyBuilder talk 10:04, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
