CrazyC83 may be right here...this outbreak appears to have fizzled on me after I created the article. However, I think we should wait and see before merging because the one tornado with possibly a 3 mile width would in my opinion make this event notable by itself; the tornado would hold the record for the widest tornado ever recorded. With eight confirmed Wisconsin tornadoes, it's also the largest single-day April outbreak in the state. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 01:39, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't done a lot here since I am very much on the fence regarding the article now. I say now keep it until stable numbers are in. The lack of any highly destructive tornadoes is the sticking point - when there aren't any of those, the raw tornado number has to be really high to support an article. Feel free always to copy and paste anything from Tornadoes of 2011 and List of United States tornadoes in April 2011 though. CrazyC83 (talk) 01:45, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I feel that due to the destructive tornadoes in in Iowa(Mapleton,Odebolt,Varina,Pochohontas) plus the massive wedge make this article notable. The Merrill and Kaukauna tornadoes were pretty damaging as well. Sharkguy05 (talk) 10:56, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Sharkguy05[reply]

National Weather Service in Milwaukee has confirmed it as the largest single-day outbreak in April for Wisconsin as well as the tenth largest single-day outbreak overall (tied with several other events). I belive, in combination with the string of strong tornadoes in Iowa, that an article can be kept. Once all reports are in, the tornado count should be close to 30 (assuming that a few EF0s were missed as they always are). Cyclonebiskit (talk) 15:35, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
