Episode Three "High" Column
[edit]Radhika Hosea and Fabio should be listed as the Highs for this episode. Since ther was no winner annouced this episode —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiderman2351 (talk • contribs) 04:47, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- I disagree. The winning team did not even appear at Judge's Table, so I don't see how those three specific dishes should be singled out as "highs". -- Roger (talk) 06:39, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- I think we could do four possible things:
- Show all of the members of Team Sexy Pants as "IN (+)", because they all won the challenge as a team, but no individual was singled out.
- Show all of the members of Team Sexy Pants as "HIGH," because they all scored highly in the challenge by being on the winning team.
- Show all of the members of Team Sexy Pants as "WIN", because they all won the challenge, as no specific individual was named.
- Go with the previous suggestion, and show Radhika, Hosea, and Fabio as "HIGH", while showing all of the other members of Team Sexy Pants as "IN (+)", because those three were considered the favorites by the judges during their deliberation

- Since Radhika Hosea and Fabio were named High in this challenge then they shold be High. And to the Person who put everyone low on team Crougar Your an idoit cause the only people who should be low is Daniel and Jeff. If we do it the way we have it now It looks Sloppy so juat have Radhika Fabio and Hosea as High and Jeff and Danirl as Low. --Spiderman2351 (talk) 00:05, 28 November 2008 (UTC) Spiderman2351
- The previous layout was fine. Team Sexy Pants won, so they should be all labeled as "WIN" as for Team Cougar, they lost so they should be all labeled as "LOW". Its as simple as that people -.-
- Youre making this harder than it is. They didnt say They liked all the dishes on Team Sexy Pants. But the did say they like Radhika's,Fabio's, and Hosea's dishes. so they are just listed as High. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiderman2351 (talk • contribs) 21:31, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- Honey, you're the one who is making this thing harder. EVERYONE on the Team won, Not only Radhika, Fabio and Hosea. Get yourself together and please use proper grammar (If you can). The TEAM itself won, they might favored Radhika's, Fabio's and Hosea's dish, but that doesn't mean they WON it by themselves, Its a group effort so that means EVERYONE on the team WINS. Can someone please explain what I'm saying to this retard.
EDIT: The SHOW said that the winning team from this challenge will be able to watch The Foo Fighters perform live. EVERYONE from Team SexyPants was able to watch the show, not only Radhika, Fabio or Hosea. Which implies that EVERYONE WON that said challenge.
PS: Don't give me the Verizon Wireless V CAST bull crap because an average person that watches the show will not know this information because NOT EVERYONE SUBSCRIBES to that crap fest. Stick with the show people, they clearly showed EVERYONE from Team SexyPants Watching the Concert (Which was the GROUP'S reward).
- Look if you want to give me bull shit here I have no problem with this i just watched the episode and they said that there were some flunkers on the team so Honey dont give me bull crap cause ill spoon right back towards you. I dont mind starting an edit war and also it does matter that Verizon Wireless V CAST revealed that Radhika and Hosea had won on this challenge. Ergo that there WAS A WINNER to the challenge that wasnt the full team won. You dont need to describe that not everyone has Verizon V CAST we know that some people may have AT&T or Sprint or Nextel but as long as the word got out then that is more than enough reason to keep it the way it is. They LIKED Radhika's Hosea's and Fabio's dishes more than anyone elses. ALSO there is a fine line to being an asshole and being fair, and you crossed being an asshole by saying I have bad grammer think about what you say to people moron--]]Spiderman2351 (talk) 13:45, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Spiderman2351
- You seriously need some grammar lesson. Well if you want an edit wars...YOU GOT IT BITCH! ^_^
- And your a Bitch and need Charm School honey, Okay--Spiderman2351 (talk) 12:10, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Spiderman2351
- Spiderman2351 is right. End of discussion. Stop wasting space on the Talk Page, loser.--Cinemaniac86Oy_gevalt. 17:13, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- We'll see who wins.....^_^
- can't we find a source that mentions the v cast results? if so then yeah put it in if not then i doubr it's validity. harlock_jds (talk) 03:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well the only problem with that is we would need to find someone who has VCAST--Spiderman2351 (talk) 07:30, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Spiderman2351
- I had just looked at the Bravo website and eveyone on the team Sexy pants is counted with 1 win so now this disproves the VCAST thing. I just edited the chart to reflect that and I am sorry for my mistake. But this dosnt excuse your rude behavior I want an apology please. --Spiderman2351 (talk) 07:42, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Spiderman2351
- Okay, so did I, and I completely agree (about the apology and wins). I just looked at the chart though, and someone reversed it again. So what we're going to do for now is list the entire team with a Win, and we're gonna footnote Radhika, Hosea, and Fabio as being the Top 3, and have a second footnote for Radhika and Hosea about the V-CAST win. I won't change the chart until I get feedback though.
- Should we perhaps make a separate color (I propose Turquoise <3) that constitutes an entire Team Win? I think that might make it easier, actually. And then we'll do the footnotes, perhaps.--Cinemaniac86Oy_gevalt. 23:39, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yes I would go with that just SITE that bravo thing so people stop reverting it. Turquoise would work best and just fill in the that Radhika and Hosea had won the challenge for Vcast and The rest of the team won the challenge or somthing like that.--Spiderman2351 (talk) 10:31, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Spiderman2351
I think this discussion needs to be revisited (hopefully with a little less animosity). Is there a consensus that the VCAST results meet WP:VERIFY? Is there anywhere I can go online to see these results? If not, I think we should stick with what was in the broadcast and on bravotv.com. Clconway (talk) 04:40, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
During Hosea's montage at the reunion, at one part Grant Achatz is in the guest judge seat and Judges' Table and tells Hosea, who is wearing a shirt he wore during the Foo Fighters concert, "and you are the winner as well." This implies that Hosea is one of the individual winers of the Elimination Challenge, the other most likely being Radhika, who was the main factor in giving Team Sexy Pants the win with her stuffing. 68.175.86.31 (talk) 14:57, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
is Ariane's apperance on Iron Chef America noteable enough to be mentioned here?
[edit]Ariane Duarte was one of the sous chefs on a recent Iron Chef America Episode. She was working for the challenger (Amanda Freitag) and was named several time in the show and was clearly identifiable however her link to Top Chef was never mentioned. Is this notable enough to include? We did include a note about Richard in season 4 but he was the actual changeling chef, not a sous chef working for the challenger. Also Richards ep was filmed and aired before Top Chef, i believe this would have been filed shortly after the Top Chef filming. Additionally other than the ep itself i can't find a reference that it is 100% certainly here (the only 'proof' is that she has the same name and looks exactly the same). So should this be noted or not (i'm inclined to say not given the lack of cite, it would be better in a article about her in general not here). harlock_jds (talk) 17:13, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ariane is not the first Top Chef contestant to have been on ICA, as either challenger or sous-chef, but possibly the first to have ICA after Top Chef (we don't know the order in which they appeared). As mentioned, Richard Blais has been a challenger. Tre Wilcox (season 3) was the sole sous-chef to Kent and Kevin Rathbun in Battle Elk. If you count the judges, the list goes on further (Wylie Dufresne, John Besh, Art Smith, Michelle Bernstein, Marcus Samuelsson). Appearing on another food program is not that notable. Good trivia, mind you, but not notable. kelvSYC (talk) 06:06, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- I think Tre's was also after Top Chef. I agree it's not notable (since it was after the show, possibly it would be if it was before a la Richard) but i wanted to bring it up before someone added it to the article. harlock_jds (talk) 12:53, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
As a complete side note, the bulk of these chefs barely pass notability guidelines and thus would not have their own article; that said, I could see a possible "List of Top Chef contestants" (possibly split by season) as there's usually the bare information out there on each to establish hometown/birthdown, chef-ing history, and the like. The few chefs that go on to have their own page can be listed but use {{main}} links for them. --MASEM (t) 14:19, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- By the way, the Top Chef navbox includes all chefs who have articles. Regarding the Ariane ICA question -- it's not appropriate for this article, but if someone wants to create an article on her (I'd say TC and ICA appearance together create notability), then that's the place to put the ICA info. Finale Part 2 Judges Table
[edit]This article read: "At Judges' Table, the judges agreed that Hosea had the best hors d'oeuvre and third course, while Carla had the best first course and Stefan had the best second course."
I've just now re-watched the Judges' Table from my DVR. There's no indication whatsoever that Hosea made the best hors d'oeuvre. All three chefs made spectacular hors d'oeuvres. The judges agreed that Stefan had the best second course with his squab. Everyone but Toby (that is, three out of the four judges) agreed that Stefan's (and obviously Carla's) last course was inferior to Hosea's, and that Stefan's freezing of the fresh fish in the first course was a faux pas, so that those two things were what gave Hosea the win.
I have therefore re-written the info to reflect what was actually said at Judges' Table. Softlavender (talk) 04:30, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
I find it....
[edit]I find it sad that the season has ended like a month ago and they are still vandalizing the page to all living hell.--Spiderman2351 (talk) 21:31, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Spiderman2351
