POV Pushing
[edit]The headings "Poor Environmental Record" and "Questionable Finances" are clearly biased - I don't know why people would fill an article with value judgments like the ones in here (I mean, I do, but the way it's been done here is just silly). The "Environmental Record" section is pretty blatantly pushing for his opponent in this election, as if this politician's career has been built around opposition of random legislation proposed by his current opponent. I honestly think that the bias in this article is pretty obvious, but I really don't know what it should be replaced with.
I've put the POV check tag on the article. Défenseur (talk) 03:26, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
It seems like a campaign ad for his opponent

Cleaning Up POV
[edit]I've rewritten it and made it a straight bio piece, without much mention of his voting record (similar to other Senator bios). OCNative (talk) 08:46, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Campaign violations and penalties
[edit]Why is this removed? These are facts of events that have occurred that voters might want to know about. Many other politicians have this information in their wikipedia page. - Jerzeykydd wasn't removing it he was moving it to a different section. Although looking at it, I'm not sure why...Eomund (talk) 05:42, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Fair enough, hopefully it will stay. Thanks for reviewing this. Pmacdee (talk) 13:41, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Wife
[edit]"future Assemblywoman Audra Strickland" reads awkward. I understand it means that she was not a member of the Assembly in 1997, but it could also be construed as she is not yet in the Assembly. Is there a style template for something like this?47.137.182.8 (talk) 19:01, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
