童冰玉(Tong Bing Yu) has changed her name to 童繽毓(Tong Bin Yu). The pinyin spelling of her current name "Tong Bin Yu" is different from the older one, but I don't know if she has changed the pinyin spelling in her passport. May I ask what did the name of the article base on? The passport or the pinyin spelling?
If this article is based on pinyin spelling, shoudld this article be moved? If it were to be moved, should it be moved to "Tong Bin Yu" or "Chris Tong"? If the latter one is chosen, we don't have to move her article ever since even if she changed her name again. Westmother (talk) 05:04, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Westmother:WP:COMMON English name would be Tong Bing Yu, not Tong Bin Yu. English reports as recent as December 2019 have been reporting her as Tong Bing Yu. Also, she did not change her online social media handles from TongBingYu to TongBinYu. I think just let the article title remain as it is as Tong Bing Yu. 16:37, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
COI editor had done major revamp on both EN and ZH Wikipedia. Both articles are exact duplicate (in English and Chinese). Editor has declared COI on talkpage after being being advised not to translate wholesale from ZH to EN as there is an established article in EN already. Specific text to be removed: In 2017, she performed as "mistress" in the Mightiest Mother-in-Law.
Specific text to be added: Her performance as “mistress” in <Mightiest Mother-in-Law> in 2017 aroused rebuke and discussion from audiences. While fans of the Tong were incredibly hopeful that she would cinch an award for her outstanding performance in the series, it came as an utter shock when Tong did not even qualify as a candidate for the award.
