making it impossible...

[edit]

I took this "making it impossible to be the tomb of the 7th/8th/9th century BCE[4] Zechariah ben Jehoiada" out it seems some minimalist is trying to convince you of something, but the best is to try to keep the article as objective as possible.Sadya goan (talk) 11:34, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The problem boils down to: it if was build in the 1st century CE, it cannot be from 5th century BCE or earlier, this is kind of obvious. Tgeorgescu (talk) 01:55, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

RIGHT! so why say it?Sadya goan (talk) 13:09, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No burial chamber - says who?

[edit]

"The monument...does not contain a burial chamber" - says who? We need a source. The monument does have an inner chamber at its lowest level. Who says it's not a burial chamber? Or is it of a later date, maybe a Byzantine-period monk's cell? Another possibility: BibleWalks states that it was discovered during Jordanian rule (1948-69) - maybe the anonymous source used here is older than that?
