[edit]- Please be kind, if you add any items to this list, either current or older, drop me a line so i can add the same item to the portal page this is a mirror of. i want to keep them identical if possible, and they are formatted differently so i cant just do that linky thing that makes one appear in another spot.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:30, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
Source
[edit]As indicated at the top of this list, this was copied (and will be gradually rearranged and reedited) from Portal:San Francisco Bay Area/Years/Archive, where a random year appears at the portal page. i realized this works as an article as well. of course, now there are 3 different places to add events: the individual pages for each year, the archive list, and now this list. i could have made the archive list draw from the same data as the individual pages, but i didnt bother to do so, and there are some features of the archive that i wanted to be keep as different from the pages, such as the instructions at the top.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 23:40, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
- I left one easter egg. if others find it unprofessional, they may remove it. i like it, and it actually fits the subject.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:55, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
- Every one of these facts is referenced in its target article, so its just a matter of copying those references here. I tagged this as unreferenced because even such stand alone lists need sources, and cannot simply rely on the target article source, which may of course change or be removed. Im not adding them, yet, but i may some day.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:00, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
Is the easteregg the cow sound under 1910? Or why is that included there? 79.234.238.179 (talk) 15:50, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
- yes, its there because Berkeley Farms used to run radio ads which went "cows? in Berkeley? MOOOO". so i have recreated that effect for people who remember it. people who dont, wont get it, so i am ok with anyone removing it as inappropriate. i like it too much to remove myself, and this may be the worst sin against WP policy i have committed, so im doing ok by any reasonable measure.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 18:29, 25 December 2014 (UTC)

- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, from California's 12th congressional district in San Francisco, and other senior Democratic congressional leaders, call on United States Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign, following reports that he had lied under oath to Congress about phone contacts he had had with Russian officials prior to taking his post, and during the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, for who he campaigned[1]

Kavanaugh judgeship
[edit]Im on the fence about listing the accuser here, due to concerns for her. i dont usually worry about that, as she is now a public figure, but i dont NEED to put her here.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 02:54, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
