I acknowledge there are too many X refs @Osunpokeh. While ma,ing this section my primary concern was references. https://www.astroawards2024.com/ is the home page of astro awards with all the company spokespersons listed. To know if they exactly got the prize and was it special award or just a general astro award. You need to take pain of closely watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFTSGDkATO0 livestream. To relieve users from this i added all award announcements from everydayastronaut.com's https://twitter.com/AstroAwardsLive account. I don't have any choice of refs that give information mire reliably than this detailed refs. RIP B1058 (talk) 03:02, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please refrain from engaging in edit warring (as per WP:BRR), such as unreverting a revert, instead discuss changes in the talk page prior to doing this. In any case, self-published posts on Twitter / X are (in the vast majority of cases) not reliable sources, if there is no reliable coverage of a topic then the safe option is to not include said topic at all. @Osunpokeh OK I consider your point and remove Twitter refs so will the other links work? (I know edit warring and I started this discussion to eliminate the situation of edit warring) RIP B1058 (talk) 09:45, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have said and i will repeat again, i personally dont liked linking twitter refs but is the general public satisfied with finding winners from long livestream that is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFTSGDkATO0 as Tim didn't publish a textual version of the livestream as he does many a times.
So what should i do writing about say like nasa missions, we use nasa refs many a times then thats too self-published coverage, if everydayastronaut.com refs is self coverage of astro awards. RIP B1058 (talk) 03:30, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop adding unsourced and/or unreliably sourced / self-published content. When covering a promotional event, material published by the promotional event's organizers are hardly sufficient to justify its notability. Given that this is clearly a controversial change, you may want to ask other editors to comment on this matter. [osunpokeh/talk/contributions] 20:39, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
