Use of Categories

This draft page needs putting in relevant Categories.
Limelightangel (talk) 11:51, 8 October 2018 (UTC)
Categories such as ingredients ( variants ) and production require more specific information.
Baglioj22 (talk) 16:48, 19 Novemebr 2018 (UTC)
With regard to the categories, I think that we can add something about "product quality". Let me know if you agree, and I will provide for the addition of this one.
MBLiuc00 (talk) 17:33, 25 November 2018
I would like to have your view about the production part. I think it's enough, I can't find more information; anyway, let me know as soon as possible your opinion.
MBLiuc00 (talk) 17:41, 25 November 2018::@MBLiuc00: I think you made a great job, it was useful and you wrote it in an effective way! DD99LIUC (talk) 16:49, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

I think we can add a further category about "Price". You find here attached one of the links and references you can use. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=it&sl=zh-TW&u=http://100wine.tw/tiger-wine/&prev=search

@MBLiuc00:It could be an idea, but I'm not sure whether there would be so many informations to write about that specific field. Maybe it could be added in the variants category since it is already talking about the cost of the product! What do you think? Stourbridgegrove (talk) 11:56, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
@Stourbridgegrove: I propose, if you agree with me, to move the part of the price in the variant subcategory (since the moment I think it is not related to the price) and add it in a new category, putting together also the information I found. MBLiuc00 (talk) 11:51, 1 December 2018
@MBLiuc00:It could work well, could you please take care of it then? Thanks! Stourbridgegrove (talk) 11:56, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

What about dividing the History section with a subcategory, such as Traditional Culture, since it takes in consideration the beliefs? What is your opinion? Stourbridgegrove (talk) 12:03, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

@Stourbridgegrove:I agree with you, it will be more precise: good suggestion! MBLiuc00 (talk) 14:22, 1 December 2018
The paragraph was removed at last for the lack of the contents. Stourbridgegrove 21:00, 6 December 2018

@Stourbridgegrove: EIA finally answered my e-mail and they said they would let me know. DD99LIUC (talk) 19:30, 22 November 2018 (UTC)

Two other pages have replied as well quite the same thing, IFAW and TRAFFIC. About that we have asked some informations and advices on the Wikimedia Help Desk too, that has been really helpful. Stourbridgegrove (talk) 12:00, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

I'm adding some links to many words, remember to do it when you create a new paragraph.

Addiction of several links related to other wikipedia pages and paragraphs in the section 'Controversy and Conservation Issues'. Stourbridgegrove (talk) 00:00, 12 November 2018

I added an external link to the words "tiger farms", do you think it is correct? DD99LIUC (talk) 16:19, 13 November 2018 (UTC)

@DD99LIUC:From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources#Avoid_embedded_links: "Avoid embedded links. Embedded links to external websites should not be used as a form of inline citation, because they are highly susceptible to linkrot. Wikipedia allowed this in its early years—for example by adding a link after a sentence. This is no longer recommended. Raw links are not recommended in lieu of properly written out citations, even if placed between ref tags. Since any citation that accurately identifies the source is better than none, do not revert the good-faith addition of partial citations. They should be considered temporary, and replaced with more complete, properly formatted citations as soon as possible. " Limelightangel (talk) 18:48, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
@Limelightangel: Thank you, I deleted it and there are no others embedded links to external websites!

I added a link to the original Chinese website of reference number 6 and it appears in red. It could be because I didn't add much information, but there wasn't any (such as a date, a name...). Let me know what you guys think about it. DD99LIUC (talk) 19:25, 22 November 2018 (UTC)

@DD99LIUC: I believe it's working well now, thanks for modifying and taking care of it! Stourbridgegrove (talk) 12:07, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

Images

@Limelightangel: I added two images and I think that the first one suits the main topic of the page, since it represents tiger bones in a liquid being commercialised. Am I right? Is there any problem with that? DD99LIUC (talk) 16:40, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Most of the images used have been uploaded with a copyright license type: CC BY 4.0. All the holders have agreed to the use of the images as long as it's given full reference to the page of origin. Stourbridgegrove (talk) 22:31, 3 December 2018

@Stourbridgegrove: It should work well, since it is strictly related to the permission on this website! (talk) 13:56, 4 December 2018
