Date of demolition of Thornton House

Old mansion was demolished late 60s early 70s as I remember visiting it at this time but cannot find verification for date of demolition. Jamie Stuart (talk) 10:03, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Error in wiki article re. Ross of Thornton

There is confusion in this article brought about by the coincidental familial relationship between the Mures and Ross of Thornton. The title Ross of Thornton pertains to a portion of the territory of Thornton in East Kilbride parish, South Lanarkshire. There is no territorial relationship with that Thornton and the Thornton in this article. Hopefully the person updating the page will take note of this and update accordingly. Thanks.
