Who did that?
[edit]Hey, who put "rumored" where I wrote about Arry and Bert? I forgot the name of the website, but it confirms the fact that Splodge being changed into 'Arry and Bert. It's quite noticable, they're both BR Shunter Class 08 engines. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Moojgoo (talk • contribs) 00:57, 1 February 2007 (UTC).
- If you don't know where it came from, it's not worth adding. It could be from a fansite that was just spectulating. Sorry. Star (talk • contribs)
- I did put a "citation" notice the other day - check the page's history. And actually, while Magic Railroad debuted in 2000, 'Arry and Bert made their first appearances in Series 5 (1998), so unless A) Magic Railroad was filmed partially around or before 1998 or B) Splatter and Dodge were converted to newer models of 'Arry and Bert, I'd say that's false, and you'd need to provide a link to a reliable source (for example, the site of someone who worked closely with the series) for it to be believable. - Oh, I never knew of the dates before. Sorry.Moojgoo 03:42, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Splatter and Dodge
[edit]Is it me, or is it possible that Splatter and Dodge are based on Zip and Zug from Thomas's sister show TUGS. Signed-Driveus.

Stanley
[edit]Does anyone think that Stanley will appear in Season 12 or any future Seasons. - Bladez636 (talk · contribs)
He might. He might not. He could appear in S12. Let's keep our fingers crossed. S.C.Ruffeyfan (talk · contribs)
Engines Save Christmas
[edit]I saw a bit of vandalism on the page recently. It was a special called Engines Save Christmas. Shall we semi-protect the page? S.C.Ruffeyfan 15:44, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
What happened?

Unsourced additions
[edit]Do not add characters from anything that has not been released yet, unless you give a source. It will be reverted. You will be blocked from editing.
Articles on kids' TV shows are the regular targets of several recurring vandals who change information at random, add future shows that they wish would be made and similar garbage (for one recurring problem, see WP:KIDSTVDATES). As a result, any/all additions of material from future episodes, direct-to-video "movies" and such must be verifiable. Blogs, Twitter, other wikis, dreams you have, notes friends slip into your backpack, etc. are not reliable sources.
If you can't decide if a source is reliable or cannot figure out how to cite sources, ask on the article's talk page. Thanks. - SummerPhDv2.0 13:49, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Relevance of this page
[edit]Ten years ago, when annual Thomas movies were not yet a tradition, this article made some sense in its presence, but now it seems hardly needed. Since movies were released annually, all of the characters introduced (excluding the case for The Great Race) continue to be used in following television seasons. The biography for the characters are also already covered in their respective pages, so this article is just doubling up on the information for little reason. All of the information about the Magic Railroad people could also be moved to a section in the people and animals page. 2405:7F00:AA00:ABB:890E:893:9B9D:4CEA (talk) 05:13, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
Relevance of article
[edit]Looking at this article now, it seems to completely and utterly lack relevance. It would make the most sense to take all of these "film characters" and insert them into the main lists, where they belong. Looking deeper, the necessity for a special page on "movies" seems to be in doubt. R23$94ACQ3R (talk) 00:11, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
