The first?
[edit]Not sure of the accuracy of this: "This was the first recorded flight carrying a passenger of any heavier-than-air craft in Canada." Laurence Lesh of Montreal "flew" a towed glider in August 1907, and gliders are heavier-than-air craft. Granted the glider was tethered, but it still flew with him onboard. See [1] and [2].-- BC talk to me 01:05, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
- Don't think this counts. Several people, including the Wright Brothers, experimented with gliders, both towed and tethered before 1907. Ckruschke (talk) 17:53, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Ckruschke
