Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because it would be more appropriate to rollback the recent edits where the alleged copyright infringement was made. The article as such concerns a US diplomat, so an overhaul of its body text, glimpsing on official pages of the US State Department, may be a more appropriate way to deal with the matter. Therefore, I, having created the article long ago, oppose speedy deletion, and instead suggest revising the text. --Per Appelgren (talk) 22:41, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Per Appelgren, thank you for your note. I have reverted to the pre-copyright violation version. Bgwhite (talk) 22:43, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Bgwhite, thank you for handling this case so swiftly and elegantly. Per Appelgren (talk) 22:48, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
