PR / dubiouse claims
[edit]Some of this reads as if PR / written by staff.
Having to charge as they are a charity is a completely rubbish argument (to justify the charges) and a matter of opinion (as a different business model could be used i.e sponsorship / paid events). - so statement removed as uncited opinion.
External projects section reads as a PR piece & was marked as uncited since 2007 so removed. - 79.74.104.84 (talk) 11:10, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Material from the Future section
[edit]Hi all. I've temporarily removed the following content from the future section:
- Topics include:
- Nanotechnology
- Emotive Robots
- Artificial Intelligence
- Growing organs
- Artificial heart - The Jarvik 2000
- Video Pills
- Silicon Gyroscope
- Micro air vehicles (MAV)
- There is also a programmable drumming robot."News : Harvey Nash Technology Survey 2014 - Birmingham Event". Harvey Nash UK. Retrieved 19 January 2015.</ref>
- The Future of Space section of the Futures gallery has various displays, including the International Space Station simulation, and the Mars Rover.Bentley, David (2014-11-19). "Teen Takeover Day at Birmingham Thinktank". Birmingham Mail. Retrieved 19 January 2015.</ref>
The information needs more / better citations before it can be included in the article. The Harvey Nash reference isn't a reliable reference, and the Birmingham Mail article doesn't make it clear whether these are temporary or permanent exhibits (I think the mars rover one is a traveling exhibit). Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 15:14, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- Just to note: the mars rover was a temporary exhibit, but there's a small visitor-controlable rover on display (need to find a ref for that). Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 15:41, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
