This book is not a novel Benastan (talk) 10:59, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed "However, her Chinese, or Asian audience has expressed some harsh criitique of her collection." to "some Asian readers." Though the article gives examples of "harsh critique," this does not constitute nor reflect the entirety of her Asian/Chinese reader base. Also, "critique" was spelled wrong. Merge with No Name Woman

[edit]

The No Name Woman article does not present sufficient information to stand on its own. It should be merged here. Neelix (talk) 15:06, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Critical Analysis section proves that the article has enough information for an independent article. Three journal articles aren't enough?Sadads (talk) 13:49, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, considering that the story itself has to do with Kingston and her work, I think it'd be best to combine the two articles. It's not that it doesn't have sufficient information on its own; it belongs with the main article concerning her work. (User:Ghaleonh41 (talk) 20:03, 5 December 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Changed picture of Maxine Hong Kingston to a 1976 photo

[edit]

I changed the 2006 photo of Kingston to a 1976 photo in this edit: [1] I believe a photo of Kingston in a time closer to the book's publication is more appropriate. I forgot to log in and write an edit summary when I made that edit. FunnyMath (talk) 21:50, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
