Hey, I will be reviewing this article :) There has been a strong start and I think this article is able to be brought forward to GA status, however it is not at that level yet. Here are my initial concerns/comments:
1.) Lead - will properly review the lead afterwards, however:
A.) You can move the ref down to the main article.
B.) "as such is not considered canon." - I cannot find a source in the article confirming this - could you please provide one (unless it is in there and I have missed it, in which case please tell me) or remove it from the lead, as otherwise it is original research.
2.) Production:
A.) "The episode was directed by series veteran Jansen Yee, in her 24th time directing an episode of the show. This is the first episode she directed since "Hayley Smith, Seal Team Six""" - The information about Yee is not sourced and hence original research, so it should be removed or sourced.
B.) The same is the issue with the rest of the paragraph - whilst the episode credits may show who was involved in the production, the information about the team is not sourced and is original research.
C.) There is not a lot of information in this section other than who was involved in the production - can you find any interviews or behind the scenes information? Additionally, there is no information about it being the 200th episode.
3.) Cultural references - There is only one source in this section, and it is placed in the middle of the paragraph. Additionally, I have reviewed the source (and some of the info can be used for "production") and I do not think it verifies all the information in the section. Can you provide further sources for this and/or reword it to remove original research?
4.) Reception:
A.) "The Two Hundred" first aired on TBS in the United States on March 28, 2016" - This should not be in reception.
B.) " Drawing 1.08 million viewers and a 0.56 rating in the 18-49 demographic, being the highest-rated episode of the season since "The Devil Wears a Lapel Pin"." - Reword (e.g. "The episode's original broadcast attracted 1.08 million viewers".
C.) "the episode that placed #2 on the list" - replace "#2" with "second".
D.) Final paragraph - please include the authors' names in the source and the section. Additionally, I would replace "The author of the article concludes their review by saying" with "They added that.."
4.) Sources:
A.) If possible, the sources should be archived.
B.) The websites of the sources should ideally be linked (e.g. Den of Geek)
5.) Plot is a bit long - can this be trimmed?
However, I think the biggest issue is the lack of sources. There are only 7 sources, 1 of which is the episode itself, and this makes it hard to show the clear nobility by itself. It needs more sources and ideally more information to be included, such as about the production, behind the scenes information, promotion etc. It would also be great to see if any non-TV related websites cover the episode. If you cannot find many sources, I would recommend checking the archives. I am happy to have a look too to help expansion, and I can also look through magazines etc to see if there is any information I could send you to include.
Once the article has been expanded and the points above have been addressed I will do a proper full review. Please let me know if you have any questions at all :) DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 02:58, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
