Neutrality?
[edit]What is not neutral with the article? // Liftarn (talk) 21:27, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Please consider rewriting "Their most popular song; "Kuken i styret" resulted in the P3 radio show Ny våg was convicted in the Swedish Broadcasting Commission after they played it." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexsoddy (talk • contribs) 23:09, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- That is unclear writing (and should indeed be re-written), but is not a neutrality issue. I would rewrite it myself except that the references are not in English, so i am not sure enough of the intended meaning to do it accurately. If any English-language sources are available for this incident, they would be helpful here. DES (talk) 23:16, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Based on this site I think this means: "Their most popular song 'Kuken i styret' was banned from radio broadcast by the Swedish Broadcasting Commission after it was played on the P3 radio program." But I don't have an en-lang source that explicitly supports that statement. DES (talk) 23:25, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- As you perhaps know, English language sources are not a requirement in referencing, but perhaps your concern is to get it correct.?Tomas e (talk) 13:26, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- Indeed English language sources are not a requirement, although they are preferred when available. But I can't, or at any rate won't, put into the article my guess at what another editor may have meant in the absence of any source that I can read which tells me that the statement is correct. If you, or any other editor, can red the sources already provided and clarify what the facts are (according to the sources), that would be helpful. I should have said, i suppose, not "I don't have an en-lang source that explicitly supports that statement." but "I don't have any source which i can read that explicitly supports that statement, since I can't read the sources provided, and can't find an English language source which discusses the matter." Ok, the show Ny våg on P3 was convicted by the the Swedish Broadcasting Commission because they had played "Kuken i styret" by The Same. // Liftarn (talk) 17:03, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]I also feel that you are overly dependent on the band's website for references. Please include more third party sources if possible in English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexsoddy (talk • contribs) 23:33, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- That would indeed be a good idea. DES (talk) 23:42, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Actually I haven't used the band's site at all. I have used MusicBrainz, Discogs, Punksvall, Sundsvalls Tidning and Schlager. The last two are print papers that have Punksvall hosts copies of. // Liftarn (talk) 17:01, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
