Why deleted?
[edit]I just read the reason for deletion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:CSD#A7) and it doesn't seem to apply to a book. The novel "The Passage" is not an "individual", "animal", "organization" or "web content". Why was it deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.157.70.19 (talk) 16:37, 15 June 2010
Apostles?
[edit]The article makes several references to Amy's escorts as 'The Apostles'. I do not remember this phrase appearing anywhere in the book.80.177.14.123 (talk) 20:29, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Requested move 14 March 2017
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: Move. As argued in the discussion, the fact that there are articles on more than one novel named "The Passage" means that the present title is incomplete disambiguation, which should generally be avoided. Cúchullain t/c 15:00, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
The Passage (novel) → The Passage (Cronin novel) – There is The Passage (Palmer novel) (as well as many novels titled "Passage"). Timmyshin (talk) 13:53, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Timmyshin: this is partial dab, you can just go ahead and correct it. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:14, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. This novel gets far more hits than the Cronin novel and should not be moved, unless there is some other novel that is closer. IIO's notion that partial dabs cannot have primary topics, and a title like this can be just moved, is not accepted by community consensus. --В²C ☎ 17:50, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- "notion"? Surely you mean guideline, see WP:DISAMBIGUATION In ictu oculi (talk) 18:48, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and In ictu oculi. Once a main header has an appended qualifier, it is counterintuitive to attempt distinctions between "primary qualifiers" and "secondary qualifiers". —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 22:00, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- Support. This should be fully disambiguated. kennethaw88 • talk 06:15, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
