[edit]Something like "The New York Times anonymous op-ed publications" ? Yug (talk) 14:32, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- That would be better, yes. I think ideally we'd want a broader article on The New York Times Op-Ed with a list of columnists currently and over the years, etc.--Pharos (talk) 15:21, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- Pharos, I crossed some general materials and general op-ed definition on the The New York Times Op-Ed, but I leave this stone for another. Converting this article into a section of a (The) New York Times op-ed would be quite easy I think.
- Are you an English native ? I wonder if The New York Times anonymous op-ed publications or (The) New York Times anonymous op-ed publications. Yug (talk) 15:40, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- I am a native speaker. We should include the "The", just because it is English Wikipedia convention to include the full title of a newspaper. The most natural name in English would be The New York Times anonymous op-ed pieces, but "pieces" sounds a bit informal. Maybe Anonymous op-eds in The New York Times would be best.--Pharos (talk) 16:12, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- I've just added an article from 1972 which is not an op-ed (though it is similar to one), if we decide to keep it I guess that would affect the name.--Pharos (talk) 17:48, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

- It should probably be called "List of...", (or deleted altogether as the product of pure trivia/bored Wikipedians inspired by a single current event) because while isolated incidents get passing notice, the subject itself does not appear to be a discrete topic significantly covered by reliable sources. WP:LISTN and WP:LISTCRITERIA offer more info. --Animalparty! (talk) 18:02, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- Wondering too but I think it's ok. It may evolve in a more general NYT op-ed article. Yug (talk) 18:50, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
- To me, this article reads like a "List of anonymous publications by the New York Times". BarbadosKen (talk) 01:42, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
