[edit]

There are 2 novels directly named "The Magicians" on Wikipedia, and there's currently no disambiguation page. Woken Wanderer (talk) 18:15, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Avira warns me about a virus after following two of these links, and two of the links seem dead

  • Dead - Official website of Lev Grossman's book The Magicians
  • Virus - Official (hoax) Fillory website
  • Virus - Christopher Plover's (hoax) website
  • Dead - Official website of Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy

For the pages with the Virus, Avira claims that each page "contains recognition pattern of the JS/iFrame.EXP.5 Java script virus" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.246.172.175 (talk) 04:40, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, those have been removed, Sadads (talk) 05:16, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Janet's last name

[edit]

The first book gives her last name as Way on pg 90 in the digital edition I have, but as Pluchinsky in the second book. Any thoughts? ACB Smith (talk) 22:39, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

See here on page 97 (ph 90 in my digital edition). ACB Smith (talk) 22:49, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This article is about the first book, and the first book only calls her "Janet Way". --Ahecht (TALK

I like what you've done about mentioning the discrepancy- I've clarified it, and will copy it over to the other pages. ACB Smith (talk) 16:53, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Character Page

[edit]

I'm putting together a page listing all the characters at User:Acbsmith/sandbox/List of The Magicians Characters, to replace the long character pages of each individual book. I'd appreciate any input. Smith(talk) 18:02, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved it to List of The Magicians Characters and would appreciate feedback or additions. Smith(talk) 14:12, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
