Reverted edits on The Magicians (U.S. TV series)
[edit]I realised that you have reverted the edits I have made on The Magicians (U.S. TV series). Could you further explain why? The links were repeated and therefore unnecessary, so I believe that there is a reason for me to unlink. I didn't delete links that were duplicated, only those that were repeated three times. See WP:REPEATLINK. The Average Wikipedian (talk) 13:34, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- @The Average Wikipedian: That's fair enough reasoning, and I understand where you're coming from. However, I was basing the layout on Person of Interest (TV series), which lists the cast member in all 3 of those spots. I understand that it looks odd without much content separating those sections (there's a big plot description in PoI), but I figure that eventually, there will be, so I might as well set it up that way from the beginning. ACB Smith (talk) 14:40, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
- Additionally, one of those sets of links is in the sidebar, which WP:REPEATLINK says not to include, and another is in a list, which I think is close enough to a table (also mentioned) that it's a matter of personal taste. ACB Smith (talk) 14:43, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
The Black Sheep (film)
[edit]Hello, I see you moved the page The Black Sheep (film) to The Black Sheep (1968 film) with the rationale "Too many other films named "Black sheep"; this is not certainly the most prominent" so I remind you of WP:SMALLDETAILS: while we have other films named "Black sheep", we have only a single film named "The Black Sheep". In cases potentially controversial like these, while you are not necessarily wrong, as a minimum the next time you should start a move request. Also, now there are a dozen of incoming articles which incorrectly link to the disambiguation page ([1]), please remember to fix them when you move a page. Bye, Cavarrone 06:09, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
- Shit, I forgot to fix all the links. Thanks for the reminder. Duly noted about the move request. ACB Smith (talk)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for February 1
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dreams of Gods and Monsters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romance. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Lack of edit summaries
[edit]Hello. You don't seem to be new to editing, so I'm confused about your lack of edit summaries. Can you be more conscientious in providing information with your edits moving forward? It would be greatly appreciated. --Midnightdreary (talk) 20:34, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
