Which plot is this?

The "plot" given in this article was, like the article itself, originally labeled as being about the 2009 movie. This article was then renamed to be about the book, then the plot was edited to be about the book (but wasn't edited much from the "movie"). Then it was copy-and-pasted back into a new article about the movie (The Informant (2009 film)), then it was edited separately both here and there. Citations (which are sparse) come from both book reviews and movie news. It is unclear whether the "plot" given follows the layout of the nonfiction book, the content of the movie script, or a general summary of the historical facts. It doesn't seem to me that the movie and book are going to contain exactly the same amount and balance of information — the text in the article is either based on one work or the other, or neither, and I can't tell which. It should be removed or overhauled on the article that it doesn't match. In theory, any text that doesn't cite whether it matches one or the other is subject to removal, but I wanted to give someone a heads-up in case someone is willing to correct it instead. Maybe it should mostly be moved to the article Lysine price-fixing conspiracy, which is actually shorter than this article. --Closeapple (talk) 05:43, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Complete Rewrite

The articles The Informant (book). Lysine price-fixing conspiracy and Mark Whitacre are a disaster. Things that should be in one article are in another and things that should be in an article aren't. There should probably also be an article Rats in the Grain. I plan a total restructuring after Christmas.
