Image tagging for Image:143006s160.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:143006s160.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Violence, Aggression, and Coercive Actions.gif}
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Violence, Aggression, and Coercive Actions.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Several US university stub types
[edit]Hi - four stub types which you created have been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub types, which were not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, do not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding these stub types, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 02:26, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Estimates of sexual violence, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Sexual assault. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:47, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
RE: Fight Like Apes
[edit]Thank you, I'm glad you like it as I thought Republic of Loose worked out better (although it wasn't from nothing it must be said). Did you know the band before you read it? Anything missing? --candle•wicke 22:24, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
MfD nomination of Portal:Sexual Violence and Victimization
[edit]Portal:Sexual Violence and Victimization, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Sexual Violence and Victimization and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Portal:Sexual Violence and Victimization during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Zetawoof(ζ) 08:40, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Moving pages
[edit]Hi, you shouldn't move pages by copying and pasting as you did when you made Indian Home Rule Movement as the history of edits is lost if you do this. Instead follow the instructions at WP:MOVE, I've left a note at the helpdesk for an admin to fix it but thought I should tell you so you can do it differently next time. Cheers, Smartse (talk) 18:40, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- No worries, welcome back if you've been away for a while. I hope you carry on contributing :) Smartse (talk) 18:53, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Portal
[edit]Hey, I was closing this discussion, it seems like most people thought it should be moved into your userspace (that is, any page beginning with User:Jmckeon ie/... such as User:Jmckeon ie/Sandbox) so you could work on it more, until it was ready to be turned into a portal. So I'm going to go ahead and do that, at User:Jmckeon ie/svav but let me know if you wanted it moved somewhere else, or if someone else wants it in their userspace instead, we can figure something else out. Just drop me a note on my talk page. Peace, delldot ∇. 19:49, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- By the way, I moved all the subpages too, so they're all at User:Jmckeon ie/svav/Whatever they were originally named. Peace, delldot ∇. 19:53, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, I replied to your note. Peace, delldot ∇. 02:01, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Comparison between U.S. states and sovereign states by GDP per capita has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
What is the point of this article? How does it not violate WP:NOTDIR? Why are US states being singled out here?
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RockstoneSend me a message! 05:13, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
