Firstly, I am new to Wikipedia but plan to be a very active member. I am still gathering research for this article. I see no reason to delete this article immediately; however, if the gods of Wikipedia say that this newspaper is not important, then it must be.--ExplorerCY 00:20, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
I do believe that, if given a little bit of time, you will see this falls under WP:LOCAL and a local interest article.--ExplorerCY 00:24, 6 March 2008 (UTC)point taken just delete it--ExplorerCY 02:19, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Suggestion
[edit]Hello! I wanted to say thanks for your edits and welcome to Wikipedia. I have no real connection to this article (I certainly did not nominate it for deletion), but I think at least for now this would be much better served in the page on Hudson High School (Ohio) under a section like "student media" or something like it, especially considering the Hudson High School article isn't currently that long. I would try to focus on that article in expanding it and making it as complete as possible before starting other related articles. If that section gets large enough, then sure, make a separate article, kind of like how many of the articles on universities have split off separate articles on each school's athletics program and any noteworthy academic programs the university may have. For now, though, unless there are things that are just really outstanding and unique about the Explorer that come from sources outside of the high school's webpage or the newspaper itself (like an unsual occurrance, accolades, awards, designations, etc.) it isn't quite noteworthy to deserve its own article *yet*. That's what I get out of the suggestions on local articles. Good luck in your edits! --JonRidinger (talk) 02:16, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
