Promotion

One thing I recall when this movie came out - and I just watched the trailer on YouTube and it's still evident today - is that folks didn't seem to know whether this was a drama or a comedy. For example, watching the trailer elements are very reminiscent of MASH, which the primarily a comedy as a film, albeit with serious overtones. I think a discussion of this might be worthwhile, especially in comparing the film with the similar Full Metal Jacket which, despite the dark humor of the famous drill sergeant scene, was never seen as a comedy. 70.72.211.35 (talk) 23:21, 10 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
