The official British Release date for the Magical Mystery Tour LP was 1976. The original MMT British release was the double EP.Steelbeard1 17:12, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

My set came with the "Yellow Submarine Songtrack" rather than the older album. On a side note, this is the best thing I've ever bought.

Several more Since this box set includes Past Masters Volume 2, it includes "You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)" which was produced by Chris Thomas and The Beatles. Just came here from working on The Beatles in Mono and The Beatles (The Original Studio Recordings), and I notice the wording in this article's title has been questioned already … GoingBatty, I agree with what you're saying; and the written sources you provide clearly state it should be "… Box Set". I've been looking in Badman's Beatles Diary and other books, haven't found anything yet, but here's another AllMusic page for the 1988 box (via Releases at the main AMG article). As in the Sfetcu and Mulligan books, the title's given there as The Beatles Box Set.

Ironically, someone just made this change at "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)". Can't see that's any different from what's happened here, is it? Radiopathy, maybe Boxed was part of this 1988 release's official title – who knows? But nothing's been presented to support that scenario. We have to change it back. No, that's very disingenuous. This isn't about changing an article from an inappropriate name to an appropriate name, it's about what you don't like; there is no reason to disrupt the project over a minor grammatical issue. @GoingBatty: there are no grounds at all for retaining the current article title. I have no idea how to make the change (although I'm sure it's not difficult to find out how) – do you want to just go ahead and do it? I don't know …) It's at page 484 of The Anthology of The Beatles Records by Alex Bagirov – about the 20th page available in a preview accessed from "Look inside the book" here.
